Simon's Obituary

August 20, 1945
Simon Scott, 12, of England, went to heaven, August 18, 1945.
Simon was stranded on a deserted island his friends were convinced was occupied by a terrible beast. One night Simon came out of the dark and scared the boys into thinking he was the beast and boys beat him to death. Simon’s body was never found, we believe that it has been washed away into the ocean.

He was born in London, August 19, 1933, t0 Mary and David Scott. Simon went to St. George Primary School and was in grade 5. Simon lived all his life in London, England.  He sang in his school choir and played piano. He won an award for his piano playing in the London Primary Music Competition. He enjoyed nature and always spent time outside, taking naps and long walks.  Simon was very friendly and kind to his family members and friends.  Although he was a sickly child who often had fainted, he tried his hardest in every situation and always tried to help others.

Simon was survived by his parents Mary and David Scott, and his two brothers, Jackson and Tom.

Simon’s closed coffin funeral will be held on 2pm, September 30, 1945 at London General Funeral Services. Donations will be collected in remembrance of Simon for the World Wildlife Foundation.
